Mission Statement

Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital is the second referral hospital in Kenya after Kenyatta National Hospital and operates as such.

The Hospital was established in 1920’s, and was in 1998 elevated from a Provincial Hospital to a National Teaching and Referral Hospital to serve Western region of Kenya its main functions being; To receive patients on referral for Specialized Health Care, Provide Training, Educational facilities and Participate in National Health Planning. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital remains dedicated to treating all with respect, dignity and compassion
