Uasin Gishu County Government has pledged to support the Shoe4Africa Children Hospital.

Speaking during the opening of play rooms in the Hospital on July 23rd, 2017, Deputy Governor, H.E. Daniel Chemno, said his Government will set the tone and help in sourcing for donors to help the Hospital.

"Our Government will look for well-wishers to help the sick children in this facility," he said.

Shoe4Africa Foundation CEO Toby Tanser on his part requested other well-wishers to help in donating basic necessities to the children.

Earlier on, the Lions Group-Eldoret donated wheel chairs and toys to be used by the children in the facility.

Kimumu Secondary School also donated foodstuffs to the children.

Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital CEO, Dr. Wilson K. Aruasa, thanked Uasin Gishu County Government, Lions Club-Eldoret and Kimumu Secondary School for their donations and assured that the Hospital will continue providing quality health care to all Kenyans in its quest of being the Leading Multi-Specialty Hospital for Healthcare, Training and Research in Africa.

Dr. Aruasa also thanked Toby Tanser and his wife Chelimo for the support they have extended to MTRH through construction of Shoe4Africa Children Hospital, Shoe4Africa Eat and Run Kitchen, the Playrooms and Children’s Music Room.
