Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital will soon collaborate with the Mayo Clinic-one of the best medical facilities in the World. The areas of partnership will include-though not limited to-Cardiovascular Services and by extension Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).

Upon return from a two-week visit to the United States which included a visit to the Mayo Clinic the Director, Dr. John Kibosia expressed gratitude to the facility for allowing his team to visit their Hospital at a short notice.

“The visit was an eye opener especially on cardiovascular services .We are the second largest Public Referral and Teaching Hospital in Kenya; committed to the provision of high quality specialized healthcare through research and capacity building, we wish to pledge our support for collaboration with your institution,” said Dr. Kibosia.

The Director, who was accompanied by the Assistant Deputy Director Clinical Services, Dr. Wilson Aruasa and the Hospital’s Public Relations and Marketing Officer, Ms. Selah Plapan visited the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory among other areas.
