Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. John Kibosia, broke the ground for an ultramodern Outpatient Complex at Private Wing II (Memorial) on September 12, 2012.

The Complex, which will cost Kshs. 53m, is expected to be complete by end of February 2013.

The project will house outpatient clinics, doctors’ consultation rooms, mini-theatres, diagnostics services among other amenities.The complex will be constructed by Property World Limited (PWL).

Accompanying the CEO during the exercise, were: Deputy Director, Clinical Services; Dr. Omar Aly, Deputy Director, Administration and Finance; Mr. Agunda Ochanda, Medical Director; Dr. Philip Kirwa, Hospital Engineer; Eng. Odhiambo Atogo, PWL’s Director; Eng. Robert Kinyanjui among other dignitaries.

This comes barely a week after the commissioning of a refurbished incinerator at the Hospital.
