The Hospital hosted a day-long leaders forum that brought together District Officers, Chiefs, Assistant Chiefs, Councillors and other opinion leaders drawn from Eldoret West, East and Wareng Districts.

The forum was held on February 17, 2012 at the Moi University’s College of Health Sciences-Old Library. The over150 leaders were attending the session at the invitation of the Hospital’s

Director, Dr. John Kibosia.

Speaking during the meeting, the Director assured the leaders of his support adding that the Hospital has since resumed normal services.

“I want to give an undertaking in duly executing your medical cover that will be administered by the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF). We have the capacity, personnel and adequate facilities to offer quality healthcare,” said Dr. Kibosia.

Leaders who spoke at the forum commended the Hospital administration for creating an open-door policy and for holding such forums since, they said, it provides an avenue to clear misunderstandings as well as engaging with all the stakeholders constructively.
