Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) joined Sila Feed Charity in empowering the youth in Eldoret town. The event that took place at the SILA School in Kipkorgot for less fortunate children in society drew hundreds of athletes as well as sports fans.

Also conspicuously present at the event on September 15, 2012, were former and present international athletes who not only attend but gave the young athletes a run for their money.

In support of the race, the Hospital availed an ambulance, medical supplies and para-medics to give the meet a back up.

MTRH attaches great importance to community welfare as part of wider Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSRs). In this single race, the organizers intended to raise money for the less-fortunate children living within the community in North Rift Region.

The Hospital utilizes such opportunities to capture needs of its clients and in so doing effect its healthcare service provision to meet emerging health needs.
