Indiana University and Hospital Conduct Head and Neck Surgery
The Indiana University in conjunction with Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital’s Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) department are conducting head and neck surgery. The week-long surgery is targeting to operate on some 30 people. Speaking during a courtesy call to the Director, Dr. John Kibosia the team expressed confidence that the mission will benefit many needy Kenyans drawn from Western Kenya.
The Director assured them of the Hospital’s support saying that such collaborations will help the Hospital to grow from strength to strength. “Knowledge transfer is a key pillar of our collaboration. We shall always support such endeavors,” said Dr. Kibosia.
Those conducting the operations include; Dr’s Mark Royer, Susan Cordes, Kim Ruthertad, Charles Yats and Tana Shipchandler. The local team is led by Dr’s Henry Ngoitsi and Titus Sisenda.
