The Transport department is a fully-fledged section at the institution. It is committed to fulfilling the following core functions:

1.Provision of Ambulance services

During Emergency cases, the Hospital becomes instrumental in rescuing patients both within the facility and outside. Whenever an accident occurs; both General and Road Traffic Accidents, there is always an Ambulance on standby that will immediately rush to the scene.

2.CT Scan and X-ray patients

The department provides Ambulance services to assist patients who may require CT-Scan and X-ray services. The Ambulances are fully equipped and are manned by dedicated personnel.

3. Referral Patients

Patients who require urgent attention in the hospital or are referred from other health institutions can utilize the Ambulance services. The transport department also provides transport to staff once they seek the necessary approval from Authorized Officers.

4.Hearse

The Hospital has a hearse that can be hired by both the staff and the public at fairly competitive rates. One has to formally request for the service to the Director, upon whose approval, the Transport will work out the rates.
